This source, who asked not to be identified, told me that Ready had received substantial contributions, in the area of a few thousand dollars, from people backing his "illegal alien" patrols in the Arizona desert.

The source also said that Ready had removed several hundred dollars from a bank account for U.S. Border Guard to pay his rent, promising to pay it back. The source said Ready was currently unemployed, and no longer worked for an AutoZone in Mesa.

“White House-led” is a key element. When the heads of state met in Waco and in subsequent meetings to follow up on NAFTA, both Canada and Mexico had some very serious concerns. Canada was embroiled in trade conflicts with the United States (soft lumber, beef) that it wanted to see resolved through NAFTA mechanisms. Mexico’s right-wing government, meanwhile, has found increasingly untenable the stark contradiction between open borders for merchandise and the criminalization of immigrants.On the one hand, it had a commitment to greater integration under the free trade model; on the other it was under tremendous political pressure to defend Mexicans migrating to the United States. None of these issues made it into the SPP. U.S. security concerns, and corporate demands for fewer obstacles to border-hopping production and sales, hijacked the trinational agenda.

Instead, the SPP has three fundamental objectives. The Bush administration wants to create more advantageous conditions for transnational corporations and remove remaining barriers to the flow of capital and crossborder production within the framework of NAFTA. It wants to secure access to natural resources in the other two countries, especially oil. And it wants to create a regional security plan based on “pushing its borders out” into a security perimeter that includes Mexico and Canada.

On the liberalization side, the SPP has focused on simplifying procedures for doing business and creating more unified norms and standards. The SPP seeks to make it easier for U.S. companies to ship production offshore, eliminate specific Canadian and Mexican labor and environmental standards in the interest of “harmonization”, and assure that harsher security measures don’t interfere with crossborder business.

The discussion above suggests that softwood lumber, agriculture, state trading enterprises, intellectual property, and aerospace-related issues are likely to dominate cross-border trade litigation between Canada and the U.S in the coming years. In some cases, such as softwood lumber, the litigation fora provided by a rules-based system have failed to provide solutions that address the root causes of the issues.

In contrast, in some areas, such as intellectual property, greater protection and stronger enforcement is a result of parties using the dispute resolution mechanisms provided for in bilateral and multilateral agreements.

While it is evident that the closeness of the trade relationship between Canada and the U.S. has not made it void of issues of conflict, these issues must be viewed in their broader context. Although these issues are of considerable importance for the participants in the relevant industries, for the volume and value of trade that occurs between Canada and the U.S., contentious trade issues are only a small aspect of overall trade flows. In addition, the continued reliance of Canada and the U.S. on a rules-based system, provided for domestically, bilaterally, and internationally, is an encouraging indication that the system is generally in good shape.

In May of 2005, a Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) task force released "Building a North American Community", a blueprint for merging the United States, Mexico and Canada into one country called "North America". The plan, which is being implemented via the Security and Prosperity Partnership agreement signed last year between the leaders of the three countries, will destroy the sovereignty of the USA. The United States will cease to exist as an independent nation. The United States Constitution , including the Bill of Rights, will be extinct. Implementation of such a plan is, therefore, by definition, an act of TREASON. No other word fits the crime.

Critical to the execution of this high crime is the careful application of propaganda. To that end, the academic community within the United States is being enlisted to sell the idea that destroying America is a good idea. On page 29 of "Building a North American Community" is a recommendation to "Develop a network of centers for North American studies.We recommend that the three governments open a competition and provide grants to universities in each of the three countries to promote courses, education, and research on North America."

Arizona State University is one of the first academic Judas to volunteer to sell out American sovereignty. Traitors at ASU have put up a website, intended to be an instructional tool to assist and encourage professors to teach the concept of "North America" to their unwitting student body. The site, appropriately titled "Building North America", was created in cooperation with the North American Center for Transborder Studies at ASU, which must, therefore, be the actual nest of the traitors residing at ASU.

Introduction
The “Special 301” Report is an annual review of the global state of intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and enforcement, conducted by the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) pursuant to Special 301 provisions of the Trade Act of 1974 (Trade Act). The 2008 Special 301 review process examined IPR protection and enforcement in 78 countries. Following extensive research and analysis, USTR designates 46 countries in this year’s Special 301 Report in the categories of Priority Watch List, Watch List, and/or Section 306 Monitoring
status. This report reflects the Administration’s resolve to encourage and maintain effective IPR protection and enforcement worldwide.
The Special 301 designations and actions announced in this report are the result of close consultations with affected industry groups and other private sector representatives, foreign governments, Congressional leaders, and interagency coordination within the United States Government. This Administration is committed to using all available methods to resolve IPRrelated issues and ensure that market access is fair and equitable for U.S. products of IPRintensive industries.

The Administration’s top priorities this year continue to be addressing weak IPR protection and enforcement, particularly in China and Russia. Although this year’s Special 301 Report shows positive progress in many countries, rampant counterfeiting and piracy problems have continued to plague China and Russia, indicating a need for stronger IPR regimes and enforcement in those
countries.

In addition to China and Russia, the Special 301 Report sets out significant concerns with respect to such trading partners as Argentina, Chile, India, Israel, Pakistan, Thailand, and Venezuela. In addition, the report notes that the United States will consider all options, including, but not limited to, initiation of dispute settlement consultations in cases where countries do not appear to
have implemented fully their obligations under the World Trade Organization (WTO)

In this year’s review, USTR highlights the need for significantly improved enforcement against counterfeiting and piracy, Internet piracy, counterfeit pharmaceuticals, transshipment of pirated and counterfeit goods, requirements for authorized use of legal software by government ministries, proper implementation of the TRIPS Agreement by developed and developing country WTO members, and full implementation of TRIPS Agreement standards by new WTO members at the time of their accession.
